What We’ve Been Watching:

A collection of other things we’ve been watching this week.

Feature Film Review:

‘Puss in Boots’ directed by Chris Miller and written by David H. Steinberg, Jon Zack and Tom Wheeler from a story by Will Davies and Brian Lynch which is based on a character by Charles Perrault. It stars the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Billy Bob Thornton, Amy Sedaris and Zack Galifianakis.

Long before he even met Shrek, the notorious fighter, lover and outlaw Puss in Boots becomes a hero when he sets off on an adventure with the tough and street smart Kitty Softpaws and the mastermind Humpty Dumpty to save his town. This is the true story of The Cat, The Myth, The Legend… The Boots. Source: Dreamworks/Paramount

Our Verdict: David and Richard enjoyed it and felt that it was better than the last two “Shrek” films. Josh enjoyed parts of it but over all felt that he was the wrong audience for the film.

Lists of Five:

This week our Lists of Five: Five Spin Off Movies. Made a movie and decided that you didn’t want to make a whole sequel? Why not just spin off a character or two into their own movies… What could go wrong with that idea?
Just a reminder, because we never like to just make things easy on ourselves, our lists are not necessarily top five lists, they are more or a less a list of film recommendations within the theme of the list.
