The good guys dressed in black are back in this new trailer for Men in Black 3 released today from Columbia Pictures.
Men in Black 3 sees Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) once again face a universe shattering crisis of epic proportions. When K goes missing, J must travel through time to find his partner and restore a sense of normalcy to their otherwise abnormal world.
So far the trailer seems like it should be retitled Men in Black 3: Flogging a Dead Horse, with a very literal retread of the earlier films. The time travelling motif could add some great fish out of water elements, but it also seems to rob us of the presence of Tommy Lee Jones for a chunk of the film. Josh Brolin could prove to be a worthwhile secondary option though. We do love a time travel story as well.
Men in Black 3 will hit US cinemas on 25 May 2012, and on the 24 May 2012 in Australia from Sony.
