Universal released a trailer and a new poster for the animated ParaNorman, from directors Sam Fell (Tale of Desperaux, Flushed Away) and Chris Butler. ParaNorman comes from Laika and Focus Features, who previously brought us the unexpectedly awesome Coraline.
Norman (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee), a boy who can speak to the dead, must save his town from a zombie uprising. The film also stars the voice talents of Casey Affleck, Anna Kendrick, Leslie Mann, Jeff Garlin and John Goodman. Norman will have to take on zombies, ghosts, witches and, worst of all, grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse.
ParaNorman is due for release in the US on 12 August 2012, and in Australia on 20 September from Universal.
