Prophecy Leads Dynamite Crossover Event in June

Prophecy #1 Cover Dynamite

Prophecy #1 Cover DynamiteDynamite (via Newsarama) has released their solicitations for June, and it’s the ultimate mashup crossover!  Described as Dynamite’s “biggest company cross-over event of ALL TIME!”, the brand-new seven issue series Prophecy will see many of Dynamite’s major properties appear in the same series for the first time.

In 2012, the Mayan doomsday prophecy is coming to pass, and the end of the world makes for strange allies. Vampirella, Red Sonja, Kulan Gath, Dracula, Eva, Herbert West The Reanimator, Allan Quatermain, Athena, Dorian Gray, Purgatory, Pantha and many more choose sides and clash in battles that will decide the fate of the Earth and all of mankind. Will the forces of good be able to stop the end of days? Or will an army of darkness rise?

Written by Ron Marz, with art by Walter Geovani, it promises to be a big event that contains more boobs than the average demographic could ever possibly handle or hope to see in real life.

Similarly, Vampirella will get a spin-off in Pantha #1, written by Brandon Jerwa and art by Pow Rodix.

She stalks the night, driving the forces of Chaos from the shadows and hunting them down like prey! Much more than a feral shapeshifter, Pantha is also an avatar for the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet – and she’s going to learn that history can repeat in a violent, terrifying way!

Here are the covers to the new titles, along with a few of our favourites from some of the other ongoing series in June 2012 including Vampirella #20, Warlords of Mars #21, Voltron: Year One #3 and Queen Sonja #32.
