Good evening. On the Fox Searchlight tumblr, the studio has released a first look at Sir Anthony Hopkins in full makeup as the lead in the simply titled Hitchcock.
The film will be based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, by Stephen Rebello, and is primarily described as a love story between Hitch and his wife Alma Reville (Helen Mirren) set during (you guessed it) the making of Hitch’s seminal Psycho. The film, directed by Sacha Gervasi, will also star Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins and Toni Collette as Peggy Robertson.
