It’s not only the 30th anniversary of BACK TO THE FUTURE, but last week saw the celebration of Future Day on 21 October 2015 – the day that Doc (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty (Michael J Fox) travel to the future. We didn’t get hoverboards and the Cubs didn’t make the World Series (they came pretty close), but some of the predictions came true. 1985 Richard wouldn’t believe that the ABC would invite him on the radio to chat with Rod Quinn about the trilogy, some of the time paradoxes and why the film endures.
