‘Aquaman’ star Jason Momoa dives into Australia in March for Oz Comic-Con

Jason Momoa - Aquaman

Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman in the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE film for the DC Extended Universe, will join pop culture enthusiasts at Oz Comic-Con, which lands in WA on March 25-26 (Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre) and South Australia on April 1-2 (Adelaide Showgrounds).

Jason Momoa originally found fame on Stargate Atlantis, before appearing as fearsome warrior Khal Drogo on HBO series Game of Thrones (for his audition tape he famously performed the Maori Haka). Momoa cameoed in the 2016 film Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, an appearance which teased his 2018 DC Universe solo film, Aquaman.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Oz Comic-Con back to Perth and Adelaide in 2017, and kicking off our line-up with stars Jason Momoa,” said ReedPOP Event Director Paul Baker. “Of course we’re all hoping for some Aquaman secrets too!”

The Reel Bits, and sister podcast Behind The Panels, has long been a supporter of Oz Comic-Con. In 2014, The Reel Bits editor joined co-host David McVay and guests Nicola Scott, Freddie E. Williams II and Ryan K. Lindsay live on stage for 2 shows of the long-running show. Tickets for Oz Comic-Con are now on sale.
