Paramount Australia announces initial 2012 slate

On a high from a punchy year that has included Thor, Super 8, Kung Fu Panda 2, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Captain America: The First Avenger – and The Adventures of Tin Tin and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol still to come –  Paramount has made an announcement of the release dates of some of their major titles for 2012.

Will the loss of the Marvel franchises slow them down at all?

5 April – Anne Fletcher’s My Mother’s Curse. Written by Dan Fogelman (Crazy Stupid Love, Cars 2, Tangled), it stars the unlikely combination of Seth Rogen, Barbra Streisand and Adam Scott.

10 May – The latest Sacha Baron Cohen project, The Dictator. Will also star Megan Fox and Anna Faris.
