Strap yourselves in, it’s Harold and Kumar time again. We’ve already seen one trailer, but this latest one released on IGN proves that there is nothing sacred in this bit of Yuletide sequel to the original Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.
Six years after their Guantanamo Bay adventure, stoner buds Harold Lee and Kumar Patel cause a holiday fracas by inadvertently burning down Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree.
Returning to their roots (sort of) with this holiday special, it marks the first time the pair have been seen in 3D. The film sees Harold (John Cho, Star Trek) and Kumar (Kal Penn, TV’s House) inadvertently burn down a Christmas tree and shoot down Santa in their quest for Yuletide spirit. We must admit to having a tiny bit of a guilty interest in this one. After all, Christmas needs saving at least once a year, right?
A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 3D is due out in the US on 4 November 2011. No Australian release date has been set.
